Working with wood has always been my passion, whats seems like a very long time ago, i sat watching my grandad whittle some wood with his pen knife, fashioning it into something really quite lovely, he gave me my first pen knife when i was 8yrs old, from there it all began.

What started as a hobby, doing various engravings for friends, of their pets and vehicles i started to promote my work. 

From july 2013, ive done trade shows, mainly classic and vintage car shows, just to promote my work.

 

Between then and now i have done numerous shows,and i really am overwhelmed with the response i get when people see my work, i will usually take some wood to my shows, sketch out a picture and start to create the picture whilst on my stand, people come over to see me at work, and to see the picture emerging.

I work with sharp blades and chisels to create the picture,no machinery at all, as the shows are usually in the middle of fields, i could hardly plug something into the electricity.
